Mary McCormack, an American actor, is known for her role as the main character in TV shows such as The West Wing In Plain Sight and Loaded.' Also, she is well-known for her movie roles in Private Parts', 'Deep impact', 'True Crime as well as '1408'. McCormack has a father who is a clinical therapist, and owner of an ice cream shop. McCormack comes from a family that is not entertainment-based. She attended Wardlaw-Hartridge School, and following the separation of her parents in the year 1990 then went on to Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut where she graduated with a bachelor's degree in the field of comparative arts. When she was 12 when she started her acting career in one of the productions of the Christmas opera "Amahl and The Night Visitors". While she pursued her profession in theatre, McCormack eventually gained roles for both television and film. McCormack today is acknowledged as being one of Hollywood's best-known and most versatile performers. She is married to director and producer Michael Morris, she has three daughters.
