Kristen Anne Bell (1980) is a popular American performer and actress. Born and raised in Huntington Woods Michigan as the daughter of Lorelei Frygier - a nurse - and Tom Bell - a television director. She's an American actress and singer. Kristen is of Polish descent (mother) as well as German, English and Scottish (father). Kristen was already a skilled entertainer in the early stages. She went to her audition in 1992, and was then offered the role of Raggedy Ann, and Andy. Bell's mother signed her up at an agency prior to when her 13th birthday. She later appeared on television commercials as well as newspaper advertisements. Additionally, she began to take classes in acting privately. Bell played a brief, uncredited part in the film Polish Wedding (1998) in 1998. Bell was a member of the drama and music clubs at Shrine Catholic High School. The Wizard of Oz production at the high school she attended earned her the leading Dorothy part. Bell was then transferred to New York City, to the Tisch School of the Arts. She was a musical theatre student there. Bell left the university in 2001 and began playing the character of Becky in the film Tom Sawyer. It was also in 2001 that Bell's first appearance in a film that was credited to her, Pootie Tang (2002). Unfortunately her scene has been cut out and the credits only show her. Bell played part of the Broadway revival of The Crucible starring Liam Neeson & Angela Bettis.
