Abigail Spencer
Abigail Leigh Spencer, an American actress and film director who also works on television. Her fame was boosted by her role in the sci-fi show Timeless and the drama series Rectify. Born in Gulf Breeze, Florida, she made her acting debut by playing a character in the soap-opera 'All My Child'. The show won her an award called the "Soap Opera Digest Award" to honor the most outstanding female Newcomer. Through the following years she was mostly in guest roles. She was awarded acclaim due to her portrayal of the character of Dr. Erin Jameson in the TV show 'Hawthorne'. Slowly with the help of her amazing looks and stunning acting skills, she managed to develop a huge following. The film "Campfire Stones', she portrayed in a role aged 20. Some of the films she's been in include 'Jekyll' "This Means war" as well as "Chasing Mavericks". She was awarded the "Madrid International Festival Award' in recognition of her performance in the movie 'Beautiful Now'. She played Lucy Preston, a history professor in the sci fi show "Timeless". Spencer received nominations for the Teen Choice Awards and has won praise from the critics.
